When we were searching for someone to help us sell our home, we interviewed four realtors. The following day we were prepared to select one of the people we had interviewed. However that same day we had some longtime family friends over for dinner, who in conversation recommended someone that had sold their home the previous year and suggested that we consider interviewing that person. By this time we were over the whole interviewing process and just wanted to move forward. Anyway we called the person our friend recommended with the thinking that we would ask him for a last minute appointment with likely no chance of getting the listing, and he would decline. That person was Jason. We informed him that we had already pretty much made up our minds as to who we were going to have list our home but would like to possibly meet with him that same day to discuss things. He agreed to meet with us as early as 1 hour from our conversation. Surprised, we said ok and asked him to come over. Considering that we gave him almost no time to prepare, we assumed it would be a pointless meeting and that we could just go ahead and call the other realtor and let her know that she was going to be our agent. That assumption could not have been further than the truth! Jason came in and immediately made a huge impression on us as he was prepared in every way to answer any and all of our questions and concerns. He mapped out a plan for the sale from preparing the home for market, pricing, marketing plan, negotiation strategy and much more. Needless to say we were very impressed, he blew the other agents we had met out of the water. We already let him know that he was going to be the one we wanted representing us on the sale of our home and signed a listing agreement before he left. Not only did the home go into escrow within 5 days of hitting the market, we got well above the price that we were hoping for. We are very thankful that we made the decision to hire Jason as our realtor as he exceeded all expectations that we had.
